Download the Blue Calendar!

The Francis W. Parker Blue Calendar is available to download and import into a range of standard calendar applications.  Once imported, the Blue Calendar content will update automatically as it is modified throughout the year.

iCalendar (.ics), is an open standard supported by an increasing number of calendar applications. For example, Apple's iCal (Mac), Microsoft Outlook 2007 (Windows), Google Calendar, and Yahoo beta Calendar can all subscribe to an .ics calendar and receive updates automatically on a configurable basis.

Apple iCal - Mac:

  1. From within iCal, choose "Subscribe" from the "Calendar" menu at the top of your screen.
  2. Enter the full URL pasted below to the desired iCalendar file in the "Subscribe to:" box and click "Subscribe"
    http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/fwparker.org_2u46n5pq1s1bvi14k9g4vnbbu4%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
  3. iCal will then download the calendar and bring you to a screen which allows you to give a title to that calendar.
  4. Check the "Refresh:" checkbox and select "every day" which will instruct iCal to check for updates to the calendar on a daily basis.
  5. That's it. Your new calendar will appear, and you can choose to show or hide it by selecting or deselecting the calendar's title in the "Calendars" screen.
