Dear Parker Community:
I write to express my gratitude to Brent Gledhill for his three years of outstanding, dedicated leadership as President of Parker’s Board of Trustees and to introduce you to Rika Yoshida, Parker’s new Board President as of Monday, May 14, 2018.
Brent’s passion for excellence and equity informed his leadership which contributed significantly to advancing Parker’s mission, and I am very grateful to Brent for all he has done for Parker during his presidency.
Rika has served on Parker’s Board of Trustees since 2012. During this time, Rika has been an active member of the Trustee, Facilities and Executive Committees. In addition, Rika served as Co-Chair of the Parents’ Association from 2014–16 and has been a Vice-President of the Board since 2016. Rika and her husband, Joe Mansueto, are the parents of three Parker students: Jenna ’19, Daniel ’21 and Johnny ’23.
Rika’s leadership experience at Parker and with other organizations, as well as her commitment to Parker’s mission, will make her an excellent leader of Parker’s Board of Trustees, and I look forward to working with her on behalf of Parker in the coming years.
