Cold Blooded Creatures Come to Parker!

Conservation through education was the order of the day when Jim Nesci brought a menagerie of Cold Blooded Creatures to the school for a special JK through 5th grade Morning Ex. Nesci shared scientific information and personal anecdotes about tortoises, pythons and alligators before allowing his audience to get up close and personal with the animals.

Some had a tortoise sit on their laps. Others stood shoulder to shoulder supporting the weight of a 20-foot python in their hands. Some daring spectators even got up close and personal with an alligator for a photo opportunity as part of the fun. One thing is certain: all in attendance enjoyed the show and learned about conservation and reptiles in a safe, positive way.
