March Mathness Problem of the Week #3

This week’s March Mathness problems are inspired by Sunil Singh’s visit to Parker on Monday. This was a particularly math-filled week for Parker: the 4th grade tried to defeat Singh in a game of strategic number removal, parents and teachers attended workshops about algebraic reasoning and base-n systems, Board members explored math at Parker late into the evening with Professor Cheng and Assistant Principal Ruth Jurgensen, Parker P.L.U.S. launched its Math Club with the fantastic Ms. Ragsdale, and students across the school enjoyed Pi Day festivities (and counter festivities).
Enjoy these problems, and don't forget to share your solutions, failed attempts and photos with us at!
