The Numbers Are In! Used Book Sale A Success

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to extend a big thank you on behalf of the Used Book Sale Committee and the Parents’ Association for making the 2023 Used Book Sale a huge success! Thank you for donating your books and sponsoring boxes of books to go to our community partners.

The Numbers
$3,107.20—Raised for the Kovler Family Library
1,374—Books provided to faculty and students at no cost
4—Community partners (Marillac St. Vincent Family Services, Open Books, KIPP Charter School, Moos Elementary)
130—Boxes of used books donated to community partners

Things we’ve heard from the community this week:
  • “This is my favorite Parker event!”
  • “The Used Book Sale is my favorite time of year!”
  • “Thank you so much for sharing your extras with Marillac St. Vincent. Our Spring Free Book Fair has become an event that teachers and students really look forward to, and we are only able to do it because of the generosity of partners like the Parker community.”
We also thank all our parent/guardian and student volunteers for making it all possible by offering their time to collect and sort books and supporting the sale!
