From Wednesday, September 13 to Friday, September 15, the class of 2026 kicked off the beginning of their sophomore year with a retreat at Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center in Carbondale, Illinois.
The three days and two nights were a great opportunity for students to create memories with one another and form stronger bonds before they take on the large task of putting on County Fair. The activities they participated in focused on the two themes for their sophomore year: Growth Mindset and Being your Best Self.
