Two Upper School Teams head to Sectional Finals

Parker’s Varsity Boys’ Soccer and Varsity Girls’ Field Hockey teams are advancing to the sectional finals!

The Varsity Girls’ Field Hockey team is having a phenomenal season posting a 14-5 record thus far. With a convincing win over Highland Park in the 2nd round of the IHSFA playoffs, the Colonels advanced to the sectional finals for the first time in more than a decade. Come cheer them on to victory at their next game against Lake Forest High School Friday, October 19 at 5 p.m. on Lake Forest High School’s West Campus (300 S. Waukegan Rd., Lake Forest).


Also, with Tuesday’s victory over Golder Prep, Parker’s Varsity Boys’ Soccer team has secured the title of Regional Champions for the fourth consecutive year. The Colonels followed up their Regional victory with a 3-1 win over rival North Shore Country Day in the Sectional Semi-Final which advanced them to the final against Cristo Rey St. Martin. With the win in the semi-final, Parker is ranked among the top 16 teams in the 1A State Tournament for the third straight season. Their next game is against Cristo Rey St. Martin on Friday, October 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Loyola Munz Campus (1901 John Dr. Glenview, IL 60025).
