Music Students Shine at the Spring Showcase Preview

On Wednesday, students were treated to a special Spring Showcase Preview Morning Ex as Middle and Upper School music students took to the stage.

To kick off the Morning Ex, Grape Jam performed “Apricot.” Following this, the US boys’ tenors and basses performed “For the Longest Time” by Billy Joel. Next, the Middle School bands played “Glory” and “Plaza Del Toro.” After this, the Upper School girls performed “Think.” After they finished, the 6th grade band performed “Second Line Blues,” and the 8th grade small group choir performed “Human Heart.” To end the Morning Ex, the Advanced Wind Ensemble performed “Shackleford Banks,” the Upper School Concert Band performed a “Moana” medley, and the Special Chorus left everyone with “Somebody to Love.”

All left with spring in their step and music in their hearts!
