Recently, 1st graders used their time in Integrated Learning and Information Science to work on pictures that express things they’re grateful for in their lives. The students came up with some wonderful, out-of-the-box ideas, like, “I’m thankful for roads,” and “I’m thankful for air,” etc. Sharing their feelings using technology is a great way for 1st graders to work on their trackpad skills and learn how to create text boxes to express their feelings in writing and art, using creative visual content that goes beyond hand drawing. We’re so thankful for the beautiful pictures the 1st graders created and shared with us.
