How You Can Do Everything to Help

While we shelter in place for the benefit of our global community, the Colonel in each of us might yearn to do more to assist those in need during these difficult times. Here are some suggestions for those who want to do “everything to help”:
  • Donate blood if you are able and comfortable doing so. There is always a need, and it will only increase as time passes.
  • Donate personal protective equipment (PPE) if you have it to give. Different hospitals have different needs, but everyone needs surgical masks and N95 masks. Contact Parker parents Nimi Gonsalves to donate PPE to Northwestern Memorial Hospital or Steve Herwick to donate PPE to AdvocateIllinois Masonic Medical Center.
  • Send food to health-care workers on the front lines. This may also be opportunity to support local businesses by ordering delivery from local restaurants struggling during this time.
