Broadway in Chicago Features Parker Senior

Miguel Cervantes, a recent lead in the Chicago production of Hamilton, and Broadway in Chicago have invited high school performers and productions to share videos of their work. “Around Broadway in 80 Days” is a replacement of sorts for this year’s Illinois High School Musical Awards. “I know you've all worked so hard for this,” said Cervantes. “Let’s hear you sing.”

Senior Giselle Lopez, who played Little Sally in this year’s production of Urinetown, submitted her video, which Broadway in Chicago shared on Friday, May 1. She has played roles in many Parker productions, such as Liz in Chicago and Moderator in The Water Engine. She dedicated this last Parker performance to her amazing family for believing in her and is excited to announce she will be pursuing a B.F.A. in acting in college.
