Junior Kindergarten Organizes Virtual Field Day

Parker’s shift to remote learning required our teachers and staff to adapt and alter many plans; nowhere was this more evident than Field Day. Some may have simply chalked up these plans as a loss and moved on, but Parker’s Junior Kindergarten teachers were not willing to throw in the towel that soon!

 

So, on Friday, May 29, the JK families came together to celebrate the end of the year with their teachers. The JK team coordinated 15 teachers and 56 students across five activities and two ceremonies on an online platform.

 

Junior Kindergarten Grade Head Jeremiah Howe said, “As the year winds down, it was nice to see the children engaging in an online opportunity to get up and MOVE!”
