Sound Engineer Opens Eyes and Ears

By Music teacher Alec Synakowski

Upper School Concert Band students were treated to a special visitor last week. Musician, producer and recording engineer Sean Keenan joined music students to help reveal the nuances of professional music production and recording.

The lesson was timely and well-received, especially by music students who have relied heavily on home recording technology during the past year. Even as we transition to in-person music-making, Keenan’s lessons will have permanently opened Parker’s eyes and ears to the art of capturing quality audio and sound.
