Scholastic Bowl Team Celebrates Successful Season

By Upper School Science teacher Xiao Zhang

The Upper School Scholastic Bowl team celebrated its accomplishments and paid tribute to the graduating seniors on Thursday, June 3 with team parents.

Founded by science teacher Bridget Walsh, the team is in its fourth season and has grown in that time, with 17 members who have participated in at least one competition this season. They have also grown in accomplishments, winning the Regional and qualifying for two teams at the Small School Nationals with one appearance at the tournament playoff, all for the first time. The team has also grown in experience, participating in 153 games with many out-of-state competitions.

After hosting an informational session for Middle School students, the Scholastic Bowl team is looking forward to expanding into the Middle School next year.
