Sophomore Pianist Wins Musical Accolade

Sophomore Josh Gourdji won 2nd place in the Charleston International Music Competition in December.

A piano player since the age of four and current student at the Merit School of Music Chicago, Gourdji’s skilled performance of 7 Fantasien, Op. 116, Capriccio by Brahms cinched the 2nd place spot in the Romantic Music Competition’s Piano category for 16-year-olds.
