Parker Runner-up for Global School Award
Parker was honored as a runner-up for this year’s American Field Service (AFS) Global School Award based on the school’s ongoing work to bring global ideas to students in and outside our classrooms.
The AFS-USA Global School Award recognizes a school or school district that demonstrates a commitment to cultural diversity, global competence and curriculum internationalization, as these practices align with the AFS-USA mission of creating a more just and peaceful world through intercultural learning and exchange.
Parker congratulates Oconomowoc High School in Wisconsin on winning the award this year and maintains its commitment to cultural competency.
