Sophomore Recognized by the American Red Cross

Parker congratulates sophomore Benjamin Kagan for being honored with the 2022 American Red Cross Heroes Youth Award!

In the words of the American Red Cross regarding this honor: “Remember how difficult it was to get a vaccination appointment when they finally were made available? Benjamin directly helped over 6,000 people secure their appointments online, especially those for which technology was a barrier. Even at 15-years-old, he was leading a team of 50 adult volunteers—the Chicago Vaccine Angels—to help some of our community’s most vulnerable get immunized.”

Parker is so proud of Kagan and wants to extend heartfelt congratulations on this recognition for his hard work during the pandemic!
