Intermediate School Rocks Out at Opening Morning Ex

By Dean of Student Life for Intermediate and Middle Schools Anthony Shaker
The Intermediate School held their opening Morning Ex on Friday to kick off the year. Students had a chance to gather as a division for the first time along with meeting teachers and staff.

Head of Intermediate School Vahn Phayprasert talked about the theme of citizenship and what that can and should look like for the 4th and 5th grade years. Division Coordinator Tierra Moore unveiled new opportunities, clubs and activities that come with becoming a member of this division. And I discussed the importance of taking risks and how to use mistakes as opportunities for growth and learning.

The MX ended with the Parker Rockers (a Parker P.L.U.S. music group consisting of 5th grade students) performing two songs!
