MLK Service Project Exceeds Goal

By Parents and Guardians of Black Students Liaisons Lisa Johnson, Elaine Lee and Ashley Moore
The Parents and Guardians of Black Students would like to thank the Parker community for donating and assisting with the assembly of the Blessing Bags for our Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service Project. In total, 113 bags were created with love, which exceeded our goal of 100 bags. The kids created inspirational messages for the bags to add a personal touch of encouragement to the recipients.

The Blessing Bags are being dropped off to Project I Am for distribution to the homeless community. Thank you again for your generosity and willingness to provide for the basic needs of those experiencing homelessness!
