Scholastic Bowl Team Wins Third Regional Title

By Head Coach Ethan Levine
On Monday, March 6, Parker hosted a Scholastic Bowl Class 1A regional tournament, the first round of the IHSA state series, and had tremendous success.

Having earned a 2-seed in the section, the team earned a bye to the semifinal round. They defeated Chicago Christian 660-110 to advance to the finals, then triumphed over Beacon Academy by a score of 550-220 to claim the championship.

This is Parker’s third consecutive regional title, and it earns them a spot in the sectional tournament on Saturday, March 11. The team will face Lisle, Latin and Timothy Christian at sectionals with a bid to the state finals on the line.

Congratulations to senior Leo Auerbach, juniors Grant Koh and Warner Vance and sophomores Logan Florsheim and Lincoln Hamid on their outstanding accomplishment.
