Lights and Art in 8th Grade

Students in 8th grade have been hard at work with Visual Arts Department Co-Chair Katie Palmer creating pieces of art by using light.

Called photograms, these works are images made without a camera by placing an object directly onto the surface of a light-sensitive material and exposing it to light. Eighth graders used objects and printed transparencies to create their own photograms.
