Visitors Highlight Fancy Footwork and Sportsmanship in PE

By Physical Education teacher Kara Turpin

On Wednesday, October 11, our Lower, Intermediate and Middle School PE classes engaged in soccer programming led by the esteemed coaches from Chicago City Soccer Club (CCSC). Students participated in dynamic warm-ups, followed by ball control and skill development drills. The fun concluded with a scrimmage soccer game.

CCSC visited the school to reinforce the inclusion of various learning styles and physical activities. The session provided our students with a diverse array of activities while reinforcing proper sportsmanship and building self-esteem.

Chicago City Soccer Club prides itself on professionalism, passion and dedication to provide a unique soccer experience within the Chicago community. The club fosters a culture that nurtures intellectual, cultural, social and physical development through soccer. For more information on CCSC, please visit their website: chicagocitysoccerclub.com.
