Woodland Activity Day in the 3rd Grade

During the annual Woodland Activity Day, teachers and parent volunteers transformed the school’s courtyard into an interactive learning environment for 3rd grade students. On this special occasion, students rotated through a series of experiential learning stations featuring activities like corn grinding, hunting and food preservation, to name a few. The hands-on nature of these activities allowed our students to explore what life was like for the native culture in this area more than 200 years ago.

Also, a special thank you to parent Josh Goldman ’87 for sharing his photos!
