DanceWorks Chicago Returns to Parker!

The principal dancers and artistic director of DanceWorks Chicago recently returned to Parker for a brief visit to share the breadth, diversity and artistic richness of their talents with the school community.

The company kicked off their visit with a “pop-up performance” in the redesigned Kovler Family Library, encouraging where teachers and learners to stretch their legs and distract themselves with beautiful music, motion and movement for a few minutes.

The visiting artists then welcomed Lower School students in Parker PM to join them in Parker’s dance studio where they crisscrossed the floor aping the movements of their favorite animals and played freeze dance with members of the troupe.
We look forward to a return visit from DanceWorks Chicago later this year!
