Upper School Robotics Teams Leading Chicago League

Inspired by the tremendous showing of the MS FIRST LEGO League robotics teams a couple of weeks ago, both US FTC teams raised the bar at the 3rd Chicago League Meet last Saturday at Saint Patrick High School.

Both teams, Robotheosis (Team #3507) and Frank’s Garage (Team #9410), were undefeated as they went into the final match of the day when they squared off against each other in opposing alliances. The 3507 team, made up of primarily freshmen and Juniors, edged out the 9410 team of sophomores. In an earlier match, when they were partnered as an alliance, the Parker teams combined for the overall highest score for a match in the entire Chicago League. Also, during one of the earlier matches, 3507 was the first team in the Chicago League to completely fill the cryptobox, which is the main scoring method for this year's game. Check below for videos of two matches.

The Parker teams are ranked 1st and 9th overall in the 43-member Chicago North League headed into the Chicago League Championships on Saturday, February 10 at Amundsen High School.

Please come out to cheer them on!
