A Beautiful Day for Cookies
Parker’s cafeteria was alive with children, cookies, carols, coloring and more as more than 50 participants gathered at a cookie decorating party to kick off excitement and support for Auction 2020: A Beautiful Day To Be You.
Students in our Upper School Choral Ensemble sang carols under the direction of teacher Emma Castaldi while students worked with parents and caregivers to decorate cookies baked by Parker parent and Quest Food Management Services Executive Chef Zac Maness, using a colorful palate of frostings and sprinkles. Coloring supplies were available to keep the little ones busy once they were sugared up, and everyone shared a festive, celebratory time.
Many thanks to parent Auction Co-Chairs Sang Ellis, Nicole Jackson and Tonia Kim and members of the Development Office for orchestrating this event. Make sure to mark your calendars for this year’s event, taking place Friday, March 20, 2020 at Morgan MFG.
