Middle School singers in Amplify competed in Music at the Parks at Six Flags Great America, the first time a Parker MS choir has entered a competition.
Of the 15 choirs that participated—from four states and Canada—Amplify was one of three groups that received a “Superior” (the highest possible ranking) with a score of 92/100, earning them first place in their division and first place overall for all choirs that performed. Amplify celebrated their big win by having a great day at the park after their performance.
Choir instructors Rob Denien and Christian Jackson were overwhelmed with their students’ performance and overall behavior throughout the entire experience. They showed the best of what Parker has to offer.
Congratulations to all the vocalists who shared their voices in this effort and the adults in their lives for supporting their passion for song.
