Parker Athletes Shine Over the Summer

While school practices may have just begun for Parker athletes, that doesn’t mean the summer months were absent from athletic achievements.
 
Let’s take a look at some of those accomplishments from our athletes who were competing on a national stage.

Sophomore goalkeeper Abe Erlinger, won the NPL National Finals, representing Chicago Fire 2009 Premier. Erlinger helped lead the Boys soccer program to a regional final appearance.
Senior Dal Harrell won gold medals in the 4x400 and 4x800 relays at the USA Track and Field Regionals. Harrell followed up that performance by competing at the USA Track and Field National Jr. Olympics at Savannah State University, where she competed in the 800m, the 4x400 relay and the 4x800 relay where she placed second and earned All-American honors.
Junior Sonia Pettinelli verbally committed to the University of Virginia field hockey team. As a sophomore, Pettinelli was named to the ISL All-League First Team, and was listed by Max Field Hockey as one of the top-100 players in the nation.
Freshman Isla Warning was selected to participate in the 16u AAU Junior Olympics Games in Houston, Texas.
