Senior Kindergarten Welcomes Mark Blashford in Peter and the Wolf

Senior Kindergarten was fortunate to welcome a special guest to campus for a traditional marionette experience.

Mark Blashford of Root Stock Puppet Co. brought his one-man performance of “Peter and the Wolf,” a symphonic tale for children originally performed on the radio, to dazzle Parker SK students. Blashford paired his storytelling and marionettes with the original orchestral music for each character.

Parker thanks Blashford for spending his morning with SK students, who were enraptured by this traditional form of storytelling, even if they did catch some water as a result of a silly duck splashing about!
