Cradles to Crayons Club Packs Winter Gear and Gears Up for Clothing Drive

Members of the Cradles to Crayons Club gathered recently to help give back to the local community.

With the temperatures dropping rapidly, clothing insecurity is a rising concern. To that end, these Upper School students got together to assemble Winter Accessory Packs, including gloves, hats and wish notes for the nonprofit Cradles to Crayons.

Next week, in conjunction with the Social Justice Committee, the club will host the Cradles to Crayons Share the Warmth Drive. These clubs are collecting new or gently used clothes, shoes, books and outerwear in purple donation bins near the Webster and Clark Street entrances.

Parker invites everyone to help these clubs as they try and address clothing insecurity one article at a time.
