Castaneda and Kovler Elected as Sophomore Class Presidents
The 10th grade recently elected classmates Uriel Castaneda and Samantha Kovler to serve as co-presidents of the sophomore class.
After the initial round of voting, the three two-sophomore teams of Harper Adler/Mia Scala, CJ C/Noah Silverman, and Uriel Castaneda/Samantha Kovler emerged as front runners for the position. These teams held a town hall meeting, where they fielded questions from their peers. The final vote tally resulted in the election of Castaneda and Kovler. Students in this position plan activities, assist the Gradeheads in setting agendas for graderooms and connect with Gradeheads and the Dean of Student Life on issues the sophomore class cares about.
Congratulations to these students on taking on this leadership role for the class of 2028.
