The Parker Girls Soccer team improved their record to 2-1 on the season after a 3-1 victory over Cristo Rey.
The Colonels got off to a fast start, scoring twice in the first 10 minutes of the game. The first came from junior Sloane Kins, who scored off a rebound, with the second goal coming from senior Helen Aklilu, slotting one past the keeper from just inside the box.
After Cristo Rey cut into the deficit late in the first half, Parker continually applied pressure on the Cristo Rey defense, peppering their goalie with 15 shots on goal for the game.
Parker scored an insurance goal with 10 minutes left in the game, courtesy of a long-range shot by sophomore Kate Stauber from outside the box, to solidify the 3-1 win.
Parker soccer will return to the field on April 2, when they host Lycée Français at 5 p.m.
