Wireless Sound Visits Parker

Middle School vocalists had an opportunity for an a cappella exchange when Wireless Sound visited Parker.

Wireless Sound is an auditioned group of middle school students who traveled from Sycamore, Ill. to share their vocal talents with Parker’s 7th and 8th grade students. The group’s director, Gregor King, is a good friend of Middle School Choir Director Rob Denien, so the duo collaborated on an opportunity to bring their kids together to sing with and learn from one another.

While at Parker, both sets of choirs shared polished pieces and works in progress. They even performed together as both groups had a pair of songs in their repertoires! Both choirs reaffirmed that being in a choir is not only important and joyful but something that happens in all communities.
