Upper School Adorns 4th Floor Hallways with Art

The 4th floor is filled with vibrant pieces of art that showcase the creativity and growth of Upper School artists during the year.

The Upper School Photography 1 and 2 shows represent a semester of exploration and skill-building across a range of approaches. Students investigated portrait lighting, experimented with storytelling and strengthened their understanding of composition and shutter speed.

Painting
The Upper School Painting class showcases a progression of artistic growth across three levels. Painting 1 students created personal still lifes that capture a snapshot in time, reflecting objects and moments meaningful to them. In Painting 2, students turned inward, exploring the theme of reflection and light/shadow. Painting 3 pushed their work further through an investigation of color and mood, using palette and atmosphere to communicate emotion and intent. Together, these works highlight a thoughtful exploration of technique, identity and expression.
