By Upper and Middle School French teacher Dr. Cynthia Marker
Upper School French IV students continued monthly visits to Tisha Johnson’s JK class this year singing fun French songs and engaging in arts and crafts activities.
As a special treat for their last visit of the year, French IV classes helped their JK buddies decorate Eiffel Towers they created on the laser printer in the TIDES Garage in the Kovler Family Library. A big merci to Ms. Nora Wiltse and the ILIS team for their assistance with this festive project.
It is extremely rewarding to see our oldest students work alongside and develop long-lasting bonds with our youngest learners. Ms. Johnson and I look forward to pursuing this collaboration with the goal of forging community connections and international bonds for many years to come.
Vive la communauté et la coopération progressive!
