Now in its second year, the French Fest provides a time and place for 7th and 8th grade students who have been studying the French language and culture to share what they have been learning with others in a fun and immersive way.
Backdrops of a Parisian street scene provided visual bookends to a courtyard brimming with student-led experiences for guests to partake in. Crepes, frog legs, raclette and French sodas were on the menu, all lovingly prepared and served by French students. Students also led a portrait-sketching station and offered hands-on guidance for those interested in learning to play the classic French lawn game Petanque.
Guests enjoyed the tasty treats, warm weather and laughter that filled the air as students celebrated the end of another year in grand form.
