Wellnesspalooza Returns to Support Mental Health

Upper School counselors collaborated with students to orchestrate a special event celebrating Mental Awareness Month.

The 2nd annual Upper School Wellnesspalooza invited all Upper School students, faculty and staff to make time in their schedules for mental wellness, despite all of the stresses associated with the end of the academic year.

On the date selected, students were excused from their gym classes to enroll in up to four unique wellness activities, including yoga/meditating, vision boarding, participating in horticultural therapy, candle-making, reading, spending time with therapy dogs from Healing Hearts and engaging in field games.

Students enjoyed relaxing and decompressing before the wave of finals crash upon them. Parker thanks the Upper School Counseling team and student leaders for making the event happen once again!
