Principal Dan Frank formally knighted and saluted students as they departed the “Kingdom of Fifthenham” during this year’s 5th Grade Dubbing Ceremony.
This concluding activity of the 5th graders’ Middle Ages study featured students proceeding into the Heller Auditorium in the same characters and costumes as those in their medieval classroom presentations.
Students filled the space with the sounds of music before they came forward in small groups to kneel before Principal Frank in his regal ensemble. Frank spoke each student’s chosen name and dubbed each with his trusty sword, enshrining them to the “Kingdom of Fifthenham” and the excitement that awaits them in Middle School.
