On Sunday, October 25, longtime Parker P.L.U.S. partner Chess Wizards hosted a public chess tournament at Akiba-Schechter Jewish Day School. Several Parker Lower School students were able to attend with their families and ultimately took home the tournament trophy!
P.L.U.S. instructor “Wizard Eric” was thrilled with the turnout and proud of the chess students, some of whom he has worked with for several years.
Chess Wizards will be back during P.L.U.S. Session II this winter, and any 1st through 3rd grade student is welcome to register and join the fun!
