First Graders Join the League of Parker Superheroes!
By the Integrated Learning and Information Science Department
Meet the newest members of the Parker League of Superheroes! The 1st graders have finished their training, have created their alter egos, and are ready to save the day.
The students spent months in ILIS engaging in a hands-on learning adventure, turning core values like kindness, community service, and big imaginations into real-world superpowers. From researching iconic legends and designing vinyl-cut capes to bringing their heroic alter egos to life with green-screen animation, these young heroes are taking action to make their school and Chicago a better place.
Explore their origin stories, check out their custom hero rosters, and see how the next generation of leaders is learning to save the day!
