On Saturday, January 17, two of the Middle School’s FIRST LEGO League teams competed in the FIRST LEGO League Sectional Tournament, hosted at Parker.
Team Old Dino Bones and Team Pumpkin remained positive and focused as they competed against some of the best middle school robotics teams in Chicago.
We would like to take a moment to celebrate the incredible teamwork, positive attitudes and dedication our students demonstrated. Throughout the season, the Robotics teams faced many challenges and worked together to problem-solve and persevere. Not only did they work hard to overcome these challenges, but they also grew and learned a great deal throughout the process.
The hard work and support of the FIRST Robotics community helped make this event possible. Veteran members volunteered their time to help organize and run the tournament. Special thanks to Sravan Suryadevara and Devyn Keeney for their excellent work as tournament coordinators. Thank you as well to Science teacher George Austin for his support and dedication in ensuring the success of the event.
