Junior Beatrix Hirsch slammed her way to indie finalist status at the Rooted & Radical Youth Poetry Festival Finals this past Sunday.
Hirsch and senior Lexi Schneider were among the courageous, smart and wise voices who shared original slam poetry at the recent semifinals at The Metro.
Hirsch’s poem “To The Truth Seekers” advanced her to the finals this past Sunday as one of four poets competing independent of their schools.
