Pride Week 2026 Was A Unifying Success

by Lower and Intermediate School Spanish Teacher Karen Liszka
Faculty and staff, as well as students and families, came together to celebrate “United in Pride” for Pride Week 2026!

Students in each of the divisional Pride Alliances decorated their respective sections of the building to illustrate the unity of the entire building for the week. Community members wore different colors of the rainbow on different days to demonstrate united support. LGBTQ+ families and their students gathered with LGBTQ+ faculty and staff for a morning breakfast to reconnect. Morning Exes took place to assemble in community and unite around being proud of yourself, no matter how you identify.

Overall, the week was a joyous celebration, and we thank our administration, our faculty and ataff, our students and their families and the Queer Faculty and Staff Committee (QFS) for another wonderful celebration of feeling “United in Pride.”
