Witness the Fall of Troy with the 4th Grade

The class of 2034 delighted the community with their performance of the annual 4th Grade Greek Play.

As part of their curriculum, 4th grade students have been immersed in Greek mythology. They have read a large body of literature, including different versions of many myths. Each graderoom performed a section of the story based on the fall of Troy and worked together to write, revise and finalize a unique script. In music and art classes, they developed sound effects for their stories and created props for their stage performances. In the final weeks of preparation, students rehearsed multiple times before sharing two special performances with the community.

This year’s 4th Grade Greek Play featured heroes, gods, goddesses and mythological creatures in the story of the fall of Troy, featuring Achillies, the Greek Pantheon and the Trojan Horse, among other elements. Swords flashed, kings boasted and gods argued!
