Sophomore Josephine McCloskey was recognized as one of the top chess players in the nation under 16!
McCloskey performed well at the All-Girls National Chess Championship hosted at McCormick Place in early April, finishing 27th overall in the 18 and Under category.
Following the championship, McCloskey was listed among the top 100 female high school chess players by the US Chess Federation in the 16 and Under category.
