Students Stand Out at Youth Breakin’ Battle

Dancers in the Parker P.L.U.S. Breakdancing class shared some sweet moves at the Jewels of the Community 5 vs. 5 Youth Breakin’ Battle.

Students had a fantastic time competing in multiple categories and experiencing the vibrant breakdancing community firsthand at the event, which took place at John F. Kennedy High School. Parker’s team made it to the top eight, and 4th grader Max Luken took home the award for “Freshest Top Rock!”

Parker PM and P.L.U.S. teacher, professional breakdancer and coach Marcus Salinas was incredibly proud of the students and grateful to the friends and families who came out to support the team.
