The shorter days and the cool morning breeze settling in could only mean one thing: playoff time! As the fall season wrapped up, our Colonel athletes made an incredible push toward regional, sectional and state titles, culminating in a season for the record books.
We are especially proud to announce that Parker Athletics secured three Regional Championships this fall in Girls Golf, Boys Cross Country and Boys Soccer. We believe this marks the first time in school history that we’ve earned three Regional Championships in a single season! This historic achievement was highlighted by the first-ever Regional title for Boys Cross Country, and the Girls Golf team securing a Regional title in just their first year as a full program.
Our success extended deep into the playoffs across the board. The Boys Soccer and both Cross Country teams competed in their Regional Finals, capping off outstanding seasons. Boys Soccer continued its state run after beating Holy Trinity in their opening playoff match. On the golf course, the Boys Team qualified for the state finals even after moving up a class to 2A, competing against much larger schools. Individually, our golfers truly shone, with Annabelle Kutcher ’28 finishing an incredible 10th overall in the state and Max Satterfield ’26 finishing 17th overall—both earning All-State Honors.
The individual achievements didn't stop there. In Cross Country, we are excited that Addie Williams ’28 is a state qualifier and will be competing in the state meet this Saturday. In Girls Tennis, Graysen Pendry ’26 qualified for the state finals, showcasing her talent by winning her first match 6-1, 6-1 before ultimately falling to the top-ranked player in Class 1A. Rounding out the season, the Field Hockey team concluded their tough season in the sectionals of the IHSFA playoffs, and Volleyball competed as the third ranked seed in their sub-sectional competing in the sectional semi-finals.
It has been an inspiring season watching the dedication and success of all our Colonel athletes. We look forward to carrying this momentum into the winter sports season!
