Parker Graduate Seizes Her Political Moment

Parker’s very own Ayanna Pressley ’92 made political history in Massachusetts this week, upsetting a 10-term incumbent and positioning herself to become the first African-American woman to represent the state in Congress—a perfect example of Parker’s role as a national resource for educating for responsible citizenship and leadership in a diverse democracy and global community.
