Reunion Weekend 2025

Registration is still open for individual class parties. Registration for the other Reunion Weekend events has closed. Please reach out to alumni@fwparker.org with questions about attending. 
 
All event fees are listed. Donations in honor of your time at Parker, a teacher who impacted you or another beloved Parker friend, are welcome and appreciated, even if you, unfortunately, cannot join the celebrations in person.

  • Alumni of Color Luncheon

    Alumni of Color, please join us for a luncheon presented by the Alumni Association Board's DEIB Committee to kick off the weekend! Hear about what’s going on with Parker’s current DEIB initiatives and the Upper School affinity groups.

  • New: Upper School Classroom Visits

    Ever wondered what it would be like to be a Parker student today? Now’s your chance! Reconnect with your roots and experience a day in the life of a current Parker student. From new educational lessons to the vibrant classroom energy, come relive the Parker magic and see firsthand how the school has evolved. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to walk in the shoes of today’s students and rediscover the excitement of learning at Francis W. Parker School!

  • Campus Tour

    Reminisce about your time as a Parker student and take a campus-wide tour of our model home with your fellow Parker alumni! Led by Principal Dan Frank ’74, the tour will offer a nostalgic look at your alma mater filled with your favorite places where you used to roam, and also feature new and exciting parts where the school has evolved over time.

  • State of the School Address

    Principal Dan Frank ’74 will offer what’s going on at Parker today in his State of the School Address! Hear about how Parker is continuing to be a complete community and finding new ways to educate our students to think and act with empathy. You will also enjoy a performance from Parker’s new adult choir, Encore, that features some fellow alumni members!

  • Alumni and Friends Reunion Celebration

    All alumni, parents/guardians of alumni and friends are invited to join us for an evening of catching up in the courtyard at the Alumni and Friends Reunion Celebration! Remember old times and see what your fellow alumni have been up to since graduation. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

  • LGBTQ+ Alumni and Allies Breakfast

    All alumni are invited to our new reunion weekend event celebrating our LGBTQ+ community. Come together and connect over a light brunch, mimosas and friendship!

  • Milestone Reunion and Parents/Guardians of Alumni Reunion Brunch

    A combined celebration this year, please join us for a special Reunion brunch that brings together lifelong alumni celebrating 40+ years, members of the Anita McCormick Blaine Planned Giving Society and parents and guardians of alumni. This special event is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and mingle with many fellow Parker community members.

  • Rick Haskins Alumni Soccer Match

    The Colonel vs. Colonel matchup will be played in memory of our beloved coach, Rick Haskins. Lace up your cleats, and face your fellow alumni in a soccer matchup!

  • Reunion Family Barbecue

    Reunion Weekend finishes off with a family barbecue directly following the Rick Haskins Alumni Soccer Match.

    Join the class of 2021 at Cody’s Public House in Lakeview to celebrate your 5th Reunion! Reconnect and catch up with your classmates on the patio of Cody's Public House. You don’t want to miss this class party to celebrate your first Parker Reunion! No pre-registration required, please show up between the timeframe listed, reservation is under Emily and pay for your own food and beverages.

    Join your fellow 2016 classmates at EZ Inn in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood to celebrate 10 years since our time at Parker. Your registration fee includes an open bar.

    Reconnect with the Class of 2011 at Lincoln Park’s newest hotspot, Mary Jo McGuire’s, sister to the iconic Butch McGuire’s. Enjoy a lively night of open bar/food, nostalgia and catching up during Reunion Weekend!

    Join your fellow 2006 classmates at Burwood Tap, Lincoln Park's oldest bar and a guaranteed good time, to celebrate 20 years since our time at Parker. Your registration fee includes house brand open bar.

    7–10 p.m. | Lizzie McNeill's Irish Pub, 400 N McClurg Ct | Cost: Early Bird Price: $50, after Friday, May 1: $60 
    Join your fellow 2001 classmates at alumni-owned Lizzie McNeill's Irish Pub as we look back fondly on 25 years since our time at Parker. Your registration fee includes a dinner buffet and open bar.

    6–9 p.m. | Pour Decisions, 2624 N Lincoln Ave | Cost: $27 
    Join your fellow 1996 classmates at Pour Decisions as we reminisce on 30 years since we graduated from Parker. Your registration fee includes light bites and one complimentary drink. You don't want to miss this reunion gathering.

    7–10 p.m. | Jennifer Oppenheimer Residence | Cost: Free 
    Join your fellow 1991 classmates for a reunion gathering at Jennifer Oppenheimer's residence. Please RSVP no later than Friday, May 1 so Jennifer can coordinate food and beverage service.

    Class of 1981
    6 p.m. | Ethan Khan Residence | Cost: $40 
    Join your fellow 1981 classmates for a reunion gathering at Ethan Khan's residence. Your registration fee includes food, beverages and a good time. 

    Class of 1976
    Please note an important update regarding your Class of 1976 Party. Based on the results of the class poll sent on Monday, November 3, the majority voted to hold the celebration on Saturday, September 26. While Reunion Weekend 2026 will still take place as scheduled in May, your individual class party will be held in the fall. Additional event details will be shared later this year.

    Join your fellow 1971 classmates as we reminisce on 55 years since Parker at the Chicago Yacht Club. Food and refreshments will be provided.

    9–11 a.m. | Barrett Residence | Cost: Free
    Join your fellow 1971 classmates for Sunday breakfast at the Barrett Residence to close out another wonderful Parker Reunion Weekend. Food and refreshments will be provided.

    Class of 1966
    6:30 p.m. |  Naomi Seppala Residence | Cost: Free 
    Celebrate 60 years since graduation with fellow Class of '66 classmates at a special gathering. Reconnect, reminisce and enjoy an evening of great conversation and dinner during Reunion Weekend 2026.

    Class of 1961
    2:30–6:30 p.m. | Kovler Family Library at Parker (Zoom option) | Cost: Free

    At 2:30 p.m., Sophie and Tom will welcome everyone before all attendees provide a two-minute roundtable update. We will then hold a remembrance of our classmates who have passed, followed by open discussion. At 4 p.m., there will be a campus tour and happy hour with hors d'oeuvres and a bar. Dinner will be served at 5, and the event will end at 6:30 p.m.

  • Students of Color Affinity Groups (SOCA) Presentation and Alumni of Color Happy Hour

    Students of Color Affinity Groups (SOCA) at Parker provide a space for students of color to build community, develop a strong sense of identity and strengthen their voice and engagement across grade levels. Each year ends with a joyful SOCA celebration bringing together students to share their learning and experiences. We invite Alumni of Color to join this celebration, hear directly from students about the impact of SOCA and stay afterward for an alumni-only happy hour hosted by the Alumni Association Board Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee.
