Grandparent Events

Parker has missed having our students’ grandparents on campus, and are thrilled to be able to welcome you back to campus this spring. For a list of upcoming grandparent events and more details, please see below.

Friday, October 6 | Grandparents’ Breakfast at County Fair

Francis W. Parker School is pleased to invite grandparents and special friends of Parker students in Junior Kindergarten through 5th Grade to attend the Grandparent Breakfast at County Fair. County Fair is a  traditional school-wide celebration where students make products, organize activities and share them with the community. This event requires group cooperation and organization at every grade level and builds a sense of responsibility and ownership, giving each child the chance to contribute to the community through his or her efforts.
 
Schedule:
8–9 a.m. | Grandparents’ Breakfast at County Fair
9–11:30 a.m. | Parker’s County Fair

Due to the popularity of these events, we will be charging a fee of $15 per attendee. This event is intended for grandparents and grandchildren only

Friday, October 27 | Dinner and a Movie with Your  Grandchild

Francis W. Parker School is pleased to invite grandparents and special friends of students in Junior Kindergarten through 5th grade to bring their grandchild or special friend for a fun evening of dinner and a movie on Parker's campus. Students are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes to add to the fun!

Schedule:
5:30–5:45 p.m. | Registration
5:30–6:30 p.m. | Dinner in the Cafeteria
6:30–8 p.m. | Movie in the Heller Auditorium

Due to the popularity of these events, we will be charging a fee of $10 per attendee. This event is intended for grandparents and grandchildren only.
